Santa Fe Advisors showcased our new office located next to the Santa Fe Railyard. We had the opportunity to customize the office to better suit our growing business and were delighted to share the result with those who have supported us along the way. Whether guests were getting a tour of the space, looking out the windows to nearby new developments, or visiting the roof deck for the spectacular view, everyone had a chance to enjoy one another’s company.

Held at the Museum of International Folk Art, SFA’s Investor Roundtable featured Carl M. Kawaja, Chairman of Capital Research and Management Company, American Funds.  Carl provided insights on international markets and global economies, as well as a glimpse into medical and technological advances.  David Marion, CFA (SFA) also provided updates for domestic markets as well as the reasoning behind SFA’s strategic planning.

Santa Fe Advisors hosted an educational seminar focused on the prevention of elder fraud and cyber security.  Benjamin Schrope and Brandon Toensing, from the Securities Division of the State of New Mexico provided useful information about how to identify and prevent fraud attempts and what to do when others may be a victim of fraud.

Santa Fe Advisors and the Santa Fe Community College hosted an educational seminar for charitable entities and their advisors.  Grace Allison of UNM Law School, Amy Grossman from  Fidelity, and SFA’s Kristina Alley spoke about the importance of compliance with the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA), the charitable donation of complex assets, and institutional investment best practices.
