Nate Schnabel is the founder and owner of NAS Properties, a value-add investor, owner, and manager of office, industrial, and retail properties in Denver, Colorado. A 25 year resident of Colorado, Nate spent over 7 years at DPC Development Company, one of the most prominent private real estate investors/owners on the Front Range. During those 7 years, Nate was Property Manager, Financial Analyst, and ultimately Vice President. During this time, Nate worked in all areas at the firm, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and property management. DPC has always been a value-add investor with a focus on office and retail product. Nate left DPC in 2013 to acquire and invest in value-add properties via NAS Properties. Since then, NAS Properties has acquired five properties in the Denver Metro area, greatly increasing the Net Operating Income for each.
Prior to DPC, Nate spent nearly 10 years in the energy business with Woodward Governor, Calpine, and Black Hills Energy. Nate graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. Nate received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver in 2005. Nate has two daughters, and is a member of the ACE Board of Advisors, an organization that provides low-income families with school choice through their scholarship program.
